Every pixel in a radiometric thermal image contains precise temperature values (radiometric data). FireTrak provides your technician a suite of tools to analyze your radiometric thermal imaging, enabling the accurate identification and quantification of temperature-related wildfire phenomena including hotspots, perimeters and off season holdover fires hidden deep underground
Each individual target can be easily detailed and analyzed. The technician has the option of verifying all targets prior to generating automated map output layers and reports.
The FireTrak map interface displays geolocated targets, each uniquely identified within the Target Layer Tree. The aircraft GPS locations and heading indicators are also displayed. The analyst can select any individual target and view the maximum temperature values as well as the affected square area.
FireTrak’s target grouping function allows technicians to efficiently manage and analyze large target clusters by organizing them into groups. This simplifies mapping outputs, streamlines data analysis, and facilitates rapid, informed decision-making.
Prior to exporting the data, the technician can specify the output layers, GPS and groups of targets collectively or individually. Export formats include QGIS, CSV and KML files compatible with most Provincial, State and Federal agencies and include Maximum Temperatures, affected square area, GPS and Target Identifier. Custom output formats can also be provided for your individual requirements upon request.
